The Deltaport expansion reinforced Vancouver’s position as a world class port of call. Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ delivered the majority of the building construction along with significant civil and specialty works, completing the project ahead of schedule through coordinated execution and technical expertise.
Key facilities included a 23,000 square foot, 100 foot high steel maintenance building for container cranes, equipped with an automatic high speed fabric door. The project also featured a customs-style access control gateworks facility, inground airport-style runway lighting, a design build sanitary waste treatment centre, and other specialized infrastructure essential to port operations.
Ä¢¹½´«Ã½â€™s scope further encompassed extensive site development, including foundations, surfacing, curbs, sidewalks, fencing, reefer platforms, and supporting facilities. Additional work included the Deltaport-CP Rail Compressed Air Building, a prefabricated structure on a concrete slab with a fully integrated air compressor system, contributing to a highly functional and durable port facility.
