The Port Hope Area Initiative (PHAI) is one of North America鈥檚 largest nuclear and environmental remediation programs, led in collaboration with Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL). The multi-year initiative involves removing low-level radioactive waste (LLRW) from over 400 residential and commercial sites and 400+ road allowances, transporting it to a long-term waste management facility (LTWMF) for safe storage.

This model enables production of 25+ design packages monthly and the ability to complete over 100 sites annually. Advanced work packaging, resource leveling, and proactive planning reduce rework, accelerate timelines, and minimize costs.
